Well, it's amazing how much
money people will spend to get their bikes to go a bit
faster, stop quicker and keep it good looking. An advanced
training course does all these, yet will cost you less
than a race can, a Dynojet kit or sticky tyres, loads
less than bigger brake callipers and add more to your
safety than a new helmet.
This is the only reliable
accessory that you can take from bike to bike, won't
depreciate and lasts a lot longer than those sticky
tyres !
You already know how much
fun you're having with your bike but want even more.
Or maybe you're a bit intimidated by the damn thing
and want to "tame the beast".
Learn to ride smoother, faster
and yet safer; with more confidence in your ability
and also with your machine.
Our training is based on
the police "Road Craft" system., using high
quality radio links, we will show you how to use this
proven method for all road conditions.
Our professional Advanced
Instructors are all Driving Standards Agency, "Cardington"
assessed, with further formal training under Police
Class 1 instruction.
Courses range from ½
day - to as long as you want.
We discuss your individual
needs and each course is then specifically designed
for you. So go on - give us a call.
Those of you who want to
get a recognised Advanced Qualification
should read on.
Get The Edge in our view,
it's the toughest Advanced Rider Qualification you can
go for. It's backed by the Motorcycle Industry Association
(MIA) through the Rider Development Research Foundation
(RDRF).
BUT it's closing in Dec.
2002, after 2 yrs it hadn't reached self supporting
stage and the MIA can't keep it's subsidy forever. A
great shame.
For those who've got it,
well people in the know (like us) will always respect
The Edge, well done, it wasn't wasted.
Their ½ day test included
practical, written and oral examinations covering :
Riding techniques, machine set-up, group riding, scene
of accident etc. but riding skills carried the most
emphasis. Their test was conducted by a Police Class
1. It was pass or fail and a high standard was expected.
